The Senior Centres Sustainability Fund is an endowment created by members of our community to strengthen and sustain the Senior Centres of Prince George—today and for generations to come.
Annual earnings from the fund will be distributed evenly among Prince George’s senior centres, providing reliable, ongoing support for core operations, programming, and the welcoming spaces that help older adults stay connected, active, and supported. By pooling resources through a shared endowment, the fund offers stability in a time when many centres face rising costs and growing demand for services.
Any individual, organization, or business can contribute to the fund. All gifts are eligible for a tax receipt and are invested so that the fund continues to grow, with earnings providing long-term local benefits year after year.
The fund is held and managed by the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF), a registered charitable organization that works with donors to build permanent endowment funds that address local priorities. Since its establishment in 1995, the PGCF has granted more than $12 million back into the community, supporting organizations and initiatives that help Prince George thrive.
