As recipients of the Community Choice Grant, we were thrilled to present a $10,000 cheque to Special Olympics – Prince George in support of their incredible work — including year-round sports programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities right here in our community.
The Community Choice Grant received 232 nominations for 39 local organizations, and the love for PG Special Olympics stood out. Nominators described it as an inclusive, empowering organization where athletes build confidence, friendship, and healthy habits through sport.
