2025 Community Impact Grant Recipients
JANUARY 20, 2026

Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Community Impact Grants, investing more than $145,000 in larger-scale projects that significant better our community.

Leading this year’s funding is a $100,000 Grant to the Prince George Public Library’s All Hands on Deck project, fully funding the campaign’s original goal and helping ensure the project can move forward with momentum and confidence.

All Hands on Deck is a transformative initiative that will enhance the Library’s downtown outdoor deck space as a welcoming, accessible gathering place in downtown Prince George—supporting learning, connection, sustainability, and community pride.

“The Library has always been more than books—it’s a place where people come together to learn, connect, and belong,” said Stephanie Deol, Vice-President of the Board of the Prince George Community Foundation and Chair of the Grants Committee. “All Hands on Deck reflects the very best of community-driven vision, and we are proud to support a project that will serve residents for generations to come.”

In addition to the Library investment, PGCF’s 2025 Community Impact Grants are supporting the following organizations:

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities – Prince George Family Room – $25,000
This grant helps support a welcoming home-away-from-home for families with sick children receiving medical care in Prince George, easing stress and providing comfort during difficult times.
  • Prince George Performing Arts Provincials – $10,000
Funding supports the hosting of the 2026 Performing Arts Provincials in Prince George, bringing hundreds of young performers, educators, and families to the city for adjudicated arts competitions, while contributing to local economic activity and cultural vibrancy.

  • Community Arts Council – 2026 Performing Arts Presentations – $10,000
Funding supports four professional performing arts presentations in 2026, ensuring residents continue to have access to high-quality cultural programming close to home.

Together, these grants reflect PGCF’s commitment to investing in projects that meet community needs while strengthening long-term resilience.

“Every grant we give tells a story,” added Deol. “Some are about arts and culture, others about health, youth, or families—but all are about building a stronger, more connected Prince George.”

PGCF’s 2026 General Support Grants, the Foundation’s latest funding cycle, opened for applications on January 15. These grants provide local charitable organizations with flexible funding to support ongoing programs and operations. Organizations are encouraged to learn more and apply before February 16, 2026, at www.pgcf.ca/pgcf_annual_grant_program.
